Why block the previous thread just because it was felt to be political?

Are the moderators here a little bit weak? Are they nervous about possibly being controversial?

If the backroomers want to discuss it here, then let them; freedom of speech and all that (which our ancestors fought hard for of course)!!!!

give us a clue...........have no idea what you're talking about.......presumably motoring related otherwise you're on to a loser methinks

I think the oint was that it had nothing to do with cars unless you go off on a tangent, and carried the potential to incite political bad feeling. If you'd have discussed the cases where people had been caught after sending videos of themselves hooning around to Youtube that would have had some relevance to the forum.

Is "hooning" anything to do with motoring? Stand by for another thread closure! If it isn't motoring it won't be hear for long. The Mods aren't weak - they are strong!

for what it's worth......i think the Mods on this site have got it about right....there's an acceptable level of humour/innuendo etc and sometimes the motoring element can go a bit off line

but in relaity it's a motoring site, related to the Daily Telegraph.....it can be no surprise that anything that doesn't conform to motoring and/or Telegraph sensibilities isn't going to remain... and i'm not even a Mod?
