pug 406 catalytic conv

pug 406 catalytic conv - duggie
Problem i have is that the wifes 406 2ltr 97' has gone through 2 catalytic convertors in the last yr and the third has just started to rattle, both cats have been Bosal, which have been purchased online and then fitted at kwik fit. Is there an engine problem why the car would go through a catalytic so quick? the car has 74000mls and runs fine.

I think you should be talking to Bosal or the supplier and getting your money back.

Andy,
the supplier has replaced the last two with no problem, just seems strange how quick their falling apart, just putting the question if theres something wrong with the engine or needs adjusting maybe the mixture? thats causing the problem.
