Kit car with a roof? - moonshine

I'm toying with the idea of getting a kit car, the only problem is that I would like one that is just slightly practical - i.e has a roof and can be locked and left in work car park without having to worry about security or rain. I'm interested in something like the GTM - has anyone got any suggestions? Price range would be up to £10k and I would be looking for a ready built car, so probably the second hand market.

Suggest that you get a copy of Kit Car or similar to see what is on offer currently.

You could try browsing the Kit Car section on Ebay too - there's usually a couple of interesting looking things on there.

I believe a 5 speed Metro-engined Midas may well be a nice practical fun car.

The 3 I'd think about are the Quantum, excellent car & the Libra or a Midas.

There's a nice looking s/h Libra on the GTMcars.com website. At £11.5k it's a bit over your budget though.
