AutoGlym have an equivalent product that looks similar and behaves similarly. But surely such a successful niche product as Solvol Autosol will be taken up by another company.

When I was in the military, in the last century(!), Solvol Autosol was THE product for cleaning metal, particularly steel items like bayonets and swords. I did say the last century! I think L'Escargot has the reason - the lack of anything much metallic on a car, or anything else these days, which is made of metal and needs polishing

You need an old car to be able to find anything on it that needs a metal polish unless you're polishing the engine!
Maybe PU is considering it for his motorbike (or to give his Landrover a makeover)
