Seicento update - stunorthants26
I went ahead and had the cambelt changed, including all the other bits that come in the kit - cost me £110.75 all in ( I had a little snigger reading about those Merc service costs ) - is that a good price? He said a pulley was quite worn ( part of the kit so was changed ) - is that normal?
Also had coolant changed, just as a precaution.

Only real fault so far is that the OS front indicator keeps running fast when I first turn it on, then after a few seconds, it goes back to normal speed - Im assuming a loose connection somewhere? Havent had time to investigate yet.

Other than that, its proving reliable - in 3 weeks time it will be doing Northampton to Truro, a real test.
Economy is coming in at high 40's with almost 100% town work on the last tank.

Its hard to get over the idea of fragility with the car though - the 'whats that noise' feeling hasnt gone away just yet!

Seicento update - graham woods
Hi there, the indicator problem will likely be a bad connection on the rear or side indicator if fitted on the offside. just clean the contact, and refit the bulb, Cheers, graham.
