door rubbers on my toyota avensis make 2006 keeps on coming away from door is this a problem?

If you catch them accidently when getting out of the car, you could damage them. They may get squashed in the wrong position and cause higher wind noise / leaks.
Most cars have little plastic pegs which go into the door frame/bodywork frame and have a wider piece at the top to hold onto the rubbers.
If these are missing or damaged, then the rubbers may become loose.
It is something to get Toyota to fix under warranty next time the car is in or you pass by the dealers, should be a fairly quick job.
Honda did mine on a 3 yr old car under warranty.
(Make sure pegs and fasteners are all OK and the dealer doesn't do a quick fix with a non car Double sided tape)

thanks for your advice i will get it checked on next service

This is quite common on Avensis and should be fixed under warranty.

It does seem to be a common problem - mine had both front door seals replace under warranty and one of the rear ones went just before I got rid of the car.
