Passat electric window failure

Passat electric window failure - Halmer
for the second time in five years.

First fixed at two years old under warranty. Sounded crunchingly expensive.

Anyone any idea how much at a VW dealer to fix please?

Pull back the rubber trunking between the door pillar and the door and check to see if one of the wires has broken off the back of the plug

No idea how much it would cost for replacement.
But my rear window failure was sorted by cleaning/reseating the connectors and wiring loom. Labour ~£32 IIRC.
Whew.

A pal's Golf driver's electric window failed about a month ago and the repair cost, including a new regulator (£68 plus VAT) was £120.
