my 2000 zetec mondeo has started juddering under accelaration , usually 2nd or 3rd gear .
it doesnt do it all the time but its a bit un nerving overtaking !!!
ive thought about new fuel filter and maybe a set of new plugs to start with , any other ideas would be welcome.

Plugs and leads, from Ford should cure the problem. If you look at the porcelain insulator on 3 or 4 plug you will see burn marks where the spark is arcing to earth. Dont do the job piecemeal or youll be back at square one very quickly, change the affected plug AND lead together, ford will sell the leads individually but I always change the whole set.

try replacing the plugs first then the leads. use only motorcraft plugs from ford they are specific to the zetec engines.
