Strange objects by motorway - ioe
Does anyone know what the sinister grey objects mounted on yellow wheeled "carriages" alongside the M11 and A1M are? They are placed on purpose built hard standings behind crash barriers off the hard shoulder. They are some 2m tall and 4m wide and resemble an array of
heavily built grey steel office cupboards.

They are mobile(ish) electronic information signs. Currently facing sideways.

Probably to be brought into use when the major roadworks start

Strange objects by motorway - Glaikit Wee Scunner {P}
Saw identical units in use north of Carlisle last weeked. They were warning of severe delays on the Forth Road Bridge due to the ongoing repairs.
