ford ka - removing the oil cap? - VW-Beetlelove
Help how do i get the oil cap off a Ford Ka S reg, to top up the oil the manual said twist but it does not twist, there is a joint but pipes are attached. the yellow cap does not twist.

i usually leave a bit of dna most times i do these

sorry im a woman and sound a bit useless but will it be the yellow thin cap that comes off on its own

if you look at the top of the engine to the right you will see a cap about 3 inches across with 2 rubber pipes going to it,grab it firmly twist it to free it and the same time pull up
it has a grubber romit that makes it tight
sounds like the original cap and a new one may be a good investement
watch you dont break the pipes or the car will run terribly,the smaller one usually wears through an inch or two from the cap
