Morning,
I have a 2001 seat ibiza, the radiator fans are not kicking in (when getting hot)and i have changed the switch, i have also checked then fans work.
Does any body know where the control unit for the raditor fans are found in the car?
Any help would be fantastic!
thanks for reading,

Hi there, Sorry I do not know, but until you can sort it, just feed a 12 volt supply from your battery to the fan, using a switch and a inline fuse, then you can switch the fan on when needed to keep the engine cool till you get it sorted out. Hope this helps you out, Cheers, Graham.

Two fans so it must have a/c?
quote "the engine coolant blower motor control module is in the a/c compressor control module on the nearside )it looks like its either behind or under the headlight my guess is under behind the bumper cover)" unquote plagarised for you
please dont just wire fans up as it could cause all kinds of catastrophic problems (no offence graham woods)

If it has AC do the fans work with the AC on? Have you checked all the fuses in the car there are some for AC that conrol the fans as well!
The module is prone to failing but you need to check wiring loom across front of engine & g/box area

Hi Bell boy, I have done this a few times in the past without a problem, or course fused and with a switch fitted. Just the engine cooling fan only untll the problem was sorted. What problems do you thing it may cause ? Cheers, graham.
