Yeah. Junction of M3 and M25. 50mph with lane closures and SPECS cameras - westbound only. Not seen a jot of progress or a single workman in the couple of months that they've been up. It could do with resurfacing, but I bet they haven't got that planned.
That's cos it's not roadworks, they are testing the reshaped junction "to aid traffic flow" if they feel it works then it'll be implemented fully.
Agree with the road surface though.

Is that what it is? My experience is that it aids traffic flow about as well as parking a lorry across all 3 lanes would. But then, that's the sort of anti-motoring lunacy that this government goes for.
"Next week we'll be replacing the Thelwall Viaduct with a rope-bridge and installing a flight of stairs on the M6. To aid traffic flow."

But here on the A19 there is nothing except the 50mph limit. No lane closures, no work needed or in progress.

Anything on the other side of the bridge that requires you to slow down?
|
|
ive seen these they ve been there for ages nothing being worked on
|
Might they be working on the underside of the bridge?
Last year we had some works on a local flyover that were virtually all carried out to the underside, rarely saw any sign of workmen other than the speed limit.

no theres no work whatsoever going on
