Also - Im still loosing power when I slow down from speed.. any ideas ? (Not sure if this could be it, ive had no back box for 2 days, and it seems to be an issue since then, its being replaced today.. could that be the reason ?)

Not sure what happened to the 1st bit there... Was asking if I had to drain the oil before I replace the crank oil seal ? Sorry if thats a daft question....

if you jack and support the engine on the offside only then gravity says all oil goes to clutch side and not out of the crank side where you are working
not much would come out anyway as the level would/should be below the crank...
