hi, where does one get hold of grease caps the ones that protect the hub nut my local car factor doesnt stock them, for a mk 3 fiesta

milkyjoe,
Can I ask that you include the car make or model in the subject header, as per the reason mentioned in the sticky request at the top of the page. It's becoming quite tedious having to edit it in each and every time you post a question.
Many thanks, Dave.
ps, that goes for others that frequently forget as well.

Strictly speaking they are dust caps not grease caps ... they should be put on dry with no grease in them ... if you put grease in the caps it will seep out and make a mess of the hub and wheel ...

theyre a sealed unit mate, i think your thinking of the old types that had a breather hole in the middle, so the grease cant come out. i agree what your saying about putting grease in them, no need to put any in , i just put a smear in them and on the lip , stops them rusting!
