Citroen Suspension - Apollo
Hi All
Does anybody have any idea what may be wrong with my car
I have a citroen Xantia HDI 110 forte ,year 2000,
the problem is that the rear suspension will not go up or down in normal suspension mode,
but will go up on the highest setting and will only go down on the lowest setting,
the suspension on the rear has gone hard and the brakes have been affected they will stop the car but are very sharp
I also think the fluid level in the reservoir seems to have gone up to high

Any feedback would be much appreciated

Sounds like the rear height corrector has either failed or siezed up. The rear may be hard as a result of the ride height being incorrect due to the height corrector, or the spheres may be flat.

Thanks Guys
I have looked at the car this morning and a rod between the anti roll bar and the height adjuster is broken
and I am now on a mission to find a new one, on a sunday "No Hope!!!"

Anybody working on a Citroen, please remember to put blocks under the body of the car, in case the suspension drops "ouch"

If it is the plastic link that looks like a dogs bone part no is 529103 - costs about a quid

If the metal link then it is part of the clamp that secures it to the anti roll bar and there are different ones depending on the diameter of the a/r bar.
