I'm looking at car hire firms for a trip to Spain in June, and Carjet are offering a 5-door Clio with AC for a weekly charge of £85, which sounds like good value. Have any Backroomers dealt with this firm? Any feedback gratefully recieved.

I used them last November at short notice for a trip to Malaga. Nearly new Corsa for 40 euros for 2 days! Bargain! Also, at Malaga the whole underground car park beneath the terminal is the all brands car hire depot. Straight from Baggage reclaim to car hire pick up in the dry and no shuttle buses etc.

I used them when I went to spain, booked a corsa 1.2, arrived and was given a Ka 1 litre. Not ideal for a family of 4 with a big suitcase each. We had to remove the shelf to get cases in boot and on our knees etc.

Thanks for the info., guys,- there are just the two of us on the trip, so even a smaller car should be OK should we be downgraded for any reason, although in June, it not being the main holiday season, there shouldn't be any problem.

I've used them at Malaga (Nov 2005) and had no problems at all
