I've got a TT1 Europe. Excellent bit of kit, locks onto satellites very quickly and also keeps the lock. It has a Sirt III chipset which means it will also work through heat-reflecting wndscreens.

It calculates good routes, in my opinion, and also calculates them quickly. You can also easily add speed camera warnings if that is important to you, as well as extra points of interest.

I'd certainly recommend it but if you want full unbiased views, check the forums on www.pocketgpsworld.com

Good Luck

I have used a navman that i borrowed from a friend and the only good thing about it was that it wasnt small enough to lose! imo, they are not very good satnavs, thy keep losing the sat signal, it takes an age to find a signal and on one trip it told me ai had reached my destination although the i had only just left my estate!
Now i have just bought a tom tom 1 and it is pukka!

Mio H610 is a rather wonderful bit of kit - and yours truly had a bit of input into the software. I'm not sure if Mio provide my voice with it, but I'm sure it's around somewhere as an option. ;-)

The software will soon include fully 3D maps (ie, you'll be able to track the road up and down hills) and it looks absolutely fantastic. (Mind you, all of this is in alpha testing at the moment - if you need a sat nav now, a TomTom beats anything else hands down.

Navman sat-navs have recently been sold to Mitac who make Mio - which may be good or bad for the future of Navman.
