Just changed all the brake pads on my Rover 75. Can't get brake pad wear warning light to go out. Have checked all electrical connections again, and made sure there is enough brake fluid in reservoir. Any ideas?

If the pad sensor wires are in good order ,front and rear,then turn on ignition for 5 mins without starting engine.Warning light should reset.Favourite on these is for front sensor to rub out on suspension strut.

Dunno if these are BMW stock items but when all my 3 Series Beemers had brake pads replaced I've had to have the sensor replaced at the same time.

Seen problems with the front sensors & wiring where they break very easily even if handled carefully.
