Hi, i am the owner of a rather smokey 1997 Peugeot 406 1.9td. I have owned the car for two and a half years now, but in the last few months it has become quite smokey. The car uses no oil and runs fine so it cant be a worn out engine. (engine has covered 150k) and no lights have come up on the dash to say there is a problem with the injector pump. The cars MOT is due soon and it wont pass like it so if anyone has any idears as to why its doing it i would be most greatful. Thanks all Ben.

coked up injectors, could empty then fill the fuel filter canister with injector cleaner and run it through or if that doesn't work the injectors need cleaning and re-setting by a specialist.
