Not the first time it's happened of course, but the first I can recall when a vehicle was moved rather than the lines being put down in front and behind it.

What\'s for you won\'t pass you by

Many years ago we had a car moved ( just like a wheel barrow).
One evening, on holiday, we parked in a square in Holland only to wake up to find a market in full swing and the car gone.
The big lads had literally lifted the Austin 1100 by the back bumper, thus negating the handbrake, and carefully wheeled around the corner and neatly parked it, unopened, too our great relief.

There was a recent case where the team painting the line down the middle of the road had veered out in order to pass a parked car.
