Toyota Carib Sprinter Z touring - J&M

Thats a bit of a mouthful ain't it!

Well I am thinking of buying one of these but no nothing about them so if anyone else knows anything, good or bad then please tell me.
Will I be able to get it serviced over here okay and get bits for it? Have heard its a 4wd estate version of a Corolla?
It's a toss up between a Carib and an Mitsubushi RVR so any comments or opinions will be most welcome.....
