I am having trouble with the diesel pump on a Renault 19 1.9 d non turbo. The diesel is leaking out of the top of the pump through the return spring. Is it possible to have these repaired. Does anyone have any experience with these pumps.

Common problem on the Lucas pumps. The shaft bearing wears and the seal leaks. Find your local LSUK or diesel specialist and get yourself a new top cover assembly. Around £45-ish.
It's just a few screws to fit; ten minutes or so. Just note where the fork drops in and that's it.
