At Aldis next week "Evesham NavCam 6400 at £119.99 "
Has anyone got one or any opinion ?

If it's anything to do with Evesham computers,it should be good.

Evesham is no guarantee of anything.
Its a rebadged Mio unit with an OEM version of Navtech maps and software. As such it will be good hardware with average software, poor user interface, and NOT upgradeable for maps.
Pay the 50 quid extra for a TomTom1

If you are going to pay £120, I suggest that you stretch to £160 for a tomtom one
TomTom are one of the best manufacturers of Sat-Nav (along with Garmin) and they have a complete support package available.
If you get a Tomtom, you can get loads of extra features free on the internet like extra points of interest, speed camera updates for a small fee(£2), customisation, etc. It's also very easy to add european/USA maps if needed as well.
Another VERY important feature is that the chipset in this unit is Sirf III, very quick at getting a signal, very good at keeping a signal, and also works through solar/athermic windscreens.
I have the full europe map version and am very impressed (i had a garmin before that).
Good luck

Hello
I have to disagree with that.
Tomtom may make great units but the customer service department leaves a lot to be desired.
See www.yournav.com
The latest scandal is the RDS TMC unit.
It simply does not work and now tom tom have to replace them.
Garmin is my preferred choice.

That is my experience too. When I contacted them about impossible voice directions I got a very poor response that did not even come close to dealing with the problem.
