It would be nice to see it in the hands of a successful British motorsport company, but do they have the clout or experience to make it work? Building successful competition cars and making, marketing and supporting road cars are very different ballgames.
Dave Richards is a very shrewd man though. I can't see him going into this without having done his homework thoroughly.

Wasn't Dave Richards an accountant before he started racing? I'm sure he's looked into this properly. If it is indeed Prodrive that buys AM.

Good luck to him. If my approximate calculation is correct, the £500k that Ford will get from the sale will offset 1 month of their losses. That is scary!!!
