HELP !!!! FIAT PUNTO 55S M REG Had Engine Removed for a while for new clutch to be fitted put engine back into car, put petrol in car, engine turns but will not start. Would be greatful for any help in this matter. Many Thanks.

first of all have you checked the connections, check if you've put everything back where it's suppose to be, i had the same problem lst year turned out the dizzy was a goner, checked therest of the ignition sustem, you can buy these H.T things that go bet ween the lead and the plug and light up like a disco every time you turn the key only cost like £7!!! funny way of seeing if she had a good spark and if she was going in 1-3-4-2, let me know how you get on, hope i've been some help!!!

Although I'm not intimately familiar with this version I'm pretty sure it won't have a distributor:
twin coil pack mounted on the end of the head and two coil leads off each one is more likely.
As mentioned above they need to be on the plugs in the right order.

crank sensor cable runs over and down by the cam belt
check its wired up and you havent damaged the cable on engine refit
