Enjoying my hols here in northern California, and was surprised to see so many apparant 4WD pick ups stuck in snow after recent snow falls. Friends with whom I am staying tell me that many of these monsters are only 2WD and their owners often assume that their ground clearance and 5.7 litre V8s will get them through the snow! Thier journeys back to LA & SF are often delayed!
US gallons currently $2.99 from Chevron at Auburn...tis almost a pleasure to fill up my friends 'Outback'.The Subaru Outback variant is also available here with the 5 door Impreza, but why bother when the Legacy is so cheap? Enough to make me cry into my Marguerita.
