Emergency Info for car

Emergency Info for car - BobbyG
I am trying to make up a credit card sized information card to leave in each of the cars with all the relevant info needed in case of breakdown / accident, especially when SWMBO is driving.

So far I have

Reg number, make and model, ins company,
Phone numbers for ins company, accident recovery, breakdown, windscreen

Anything else I should include? Some mobile and work numbers?

Not emergency info as such but useful none the less - how about tyre pressures, oil grade etc etc

Relevant policy numbers would help speed things up, plus the name of the policyholder.

I also have a little checklist of information to gather in an accident.

If you include an "in case of emergency" number, quote a mobile so that the car can't be linked to your home address. Otherwise, suppose for example it was stolen from an airport car park - the thief might be able to establish your home address from the phone book and know you were away from home.

Disposable cameras to take pictures at the scene of an accident should you be unfortunate enough to have one might prove useful too.

& not just in the car.
What you should do is e mail yourself a 'My Info', list copies of...

V5
MoT
Insurance

& create similar for holidays etc, with departure times/airlines hotel etc.

Then you'll be able to access it wherever you are.
