Hello silver-haired surfers and those not yet so old.

This winter has made me more like Victor Meldrew than I would like but at least I can now look at the arrival of crocussses and daffodils despite or maybe because of global warming and reassure myself that our political masters are striving to improve things for all of us !

Meanwhile in the real world I have a 51 Escort van with an LPG conversion which doesnt want to switch over to gas. It has 100K , runs perfectly well on petrol but cuts out when switched over even though the gas tank is full.

I suspect its a solenoid/filter problem but before I dig too deeply under the bonnet I wonder if anybody can suggest anything which will save me time.

I would humbly suggest you take it to a specialised gas company onlyyby looking at it will the problem be found ,it does indeed sound like the changeover switch is not working but there could be lots of reasons for that.
