North West to Bedford- quickest way? - Mr Tickle
Hello Everyone,

A request for guidance, please. I have to drive from Warrington to Bedford tomorrow, arriving around noon. I have had a few suggestions, but am undecided. The suggestions include:-

M6, M1, A421

M6, M6(toll road),M1

M6, A50, M1 (avoids Birmingham completely).

Has anyone made a similar journey and is able to say if any of the above is any good/bad, or suggest an alternative?

If you want the quickest route then M6, M6 Toll, M1 is the way to do it. If you are toll averse then take the A50, but while it's a good enough road the western end is a bit slow, and you can get held up for miles by slow overtaking vehicles.
