I never pass an open barn door without peering in - only ancient tractors and Citroen Amis to report so far though. One day there'll be an Hispano-Suiza or a D8 Delage by Henri Chapron...
Incidentally, there's an absolutely first-class small family-run restaurant at St Meme Les Carrieres and the village is often on the route of the old-car rally touristique that forms part of the weekend of motor racing at nearby Angouleme.

Mike,
When is that? We stayed near Angouleme last year on summer hols and will probably call there again this year. We had a fantastic (and cheap!!) lunch there and visited the excellent "Cartoon museum"

I think the white one in the left foreground is a first-generation Renault 5, but this is based purely on the flattish roof and the position of the radio aerial.

Incidentally, white Renault 5s were the reason I stopped using a magnetic GB plate on trips to France - whenever I looked in the mirror, the plate seemed to have attracted one to within a gnat's crotchet of the bumper.
