"Businesses need to be prepared for the fact that the forthcoming smoking ban in England applies to company vehicles.The ban - similar to the one that has been operating in Scotland for some time - comes into force on July 1, and it's generally thought of as applying to public buildings. But it also applies to work vans, company vehicles, lorries and tractors, and company bosses are being urged to note that some preparation is required."

The dilemma for drivers was reported when no smoking ban was introduced in Scotland. South of border OK to smoke in transport - not OK north. With Wales starting soon (?2/4/07?) the situation gets more complicated again.

What about the poor employee who has to choke on the smoke left behind by the previous employee, and get cancer. What if there is an employee with a health condition that is made worse by smoke? Who's life is being made a misery?

I don't care who gets shot first..............The Smokers or the Politicos...I just don't care as long as they all get it.....That is unless they either give up smoking or lying and stick to it.
