I would like to see how much power at the wheels my car has.
How much is a typical rolling road session?
And can anybody reccomend any place around sheffield?
Thanks

The used to be Nobles just outside Chesterfield they were good. Also a place just along from Sheepbridge Industrial estate, they did some work on a MG turbo I had.

You beat me to it Steve, I was going to say Noble Motorsport (used to be called John Noble Engines): www.noblemotorsport.co.uk/default.html . Seem to be very highly regarded.
I've not used them myself but years ago a mate of mine had a MG Metro rally car which had an engine built by John Noble. Looked like a 6R4 but unfortunately only had a 1275 in it, but with twin webers it went pretty well.
I once had my 405 Mi16 serviced at Excel, and I couldnt remember whether they had a rolling road or not, so you have confirmed it.
I would guess between £30 and £40 for a rolling road session but not at all sure..

When I had the bike done last year (GP Performance, Oxford - bikes only unfortunately) it was £50 for the rolling road session. Very interesting, although watching it was not for the mechanically nervous. :-)

Result after a bit of tweaking by the way was 102.9 bhp (from 97 bhp when started). Out of 598cc. :-)
