Never seen Aprilia playing the bigot before (except on the subject of large 4wd vehicles). Tut tut.

Some modding just round the corner?
Black alloys? Not sure about that. So far, I reckon the Aygo looks the best out of that, the C1 and the 107.

In the last issue of CAR I read, I saw a small Mitsubishi city car that looked absolutely just right.

People buying cars as fashion accessories: yes, I have the utmost resect for them.
Former Royal Marines buying C2s? Must be post traumatic stress disorder.
Perhaps people should be given lessons in aesthetics - it would stop this dangerous obsession with darkened glass at the very least.

JCT have some new Nissan Cubes they certainly look different.
|
The new fiat panda 100hp is new and to my eyes is cool.
The Nissan Cube looks like another noddy car, like the Micra IMHO, but could be cool in a perverse way.
Didn't a C1/107/Aygo come in a limited edition where it was painted pink and looked like it was modded etc etc and aimed at young women? - A car I would refuse to be seen driving.

Wasn´t that the Micra or the Colt with the folding roof?

A car is a car is a car is a car is a car is a car is a....Time enough to show how macho you are when someone makes an annoying comment about the colour of your car.

The problem with an Aygo is that it is designed to be cheap - whats cool about being a cheapskate exactly?
It may well be a fine little car but I wasnt talking about ability, I was talking about coolness, which yes is in the eye of the beholder to an extent, but having seen the type of rather well groomed young ladies ive seen driving these specific C2's, I thought the whole package ( young ladies included ) look just right, in the same way that the 1970's Alfa Spider with a pretty young lady at the wheel also looked perfect and I believe featured in some of their press shots from what I recall seeing.
I think you perhaps have to be in your 20's to appreciate the the subtlety of what they have done with the Noir. The fact that its not been painted a silly colour or has huge alloys but has been made individual from the rest of the range by way of the styling tweaks, it looks much less like a shopping car but not so far it looks like a chavvy hot hatch.

Lud, you are a very confident man, here is the citroen C1 I was talking about.

It beats the pink open top Micra Hammond had to review for top gear in the 'girlie' stakes.

">Fiat panda 100hp<"
I detest the word kewl, however, the Panda reminds me of the Mini Cooper (the proper one). Excellent write up in one of the quality rags recently.
The best small car is the Mini ..... with the R1 engine in the back. I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one, I want one,
