Renault Scenic Lighter socket current. - aahbarnes
Does anybody know how much current I can safely draw from the cigarette lighter socket on a Renault Scenic?

Lighter socket current. - rustbucket
From memory its 10 amps,it is fused so check its rating.These sockets are not designed for continuous use at this current.

Make sure the connections on whatever you are using are sound,I have had a poor connection cause so much current to be drawn that the plug has melted.
