At the moment, I am using Total Ultra Low Sulphur. Any views on this or would I be better off using normal Shell or Texaco unleaded.

You should convert to Liquid Petroleum Gas. I drove a friend's converted Range Rover the other day. What I had not realised is how SMOOTH the engine sounds. Convertion £1000. Fuel 38.9p per litre in London. 10% less power. But it sounds DELICIOUS, as if the engine is lubricated by soft ice cream. Really nice.

Does it sound better and smoother than say a V6 or one the BMW straight sixes?

i know someone who had his Honda converted to run on gas, and the engine valves failed at 50,000 miles. Is that false economy?
