transit power loss

transit power loss - trickydicky
engine management light is flashing,reduced power and poor fuel economy.It has just started this week,it is a 350/125 2003 model.Can anyone point me to the likely cause.

Sounds like it's in 'limp home mode' due to egr valve, maf sensor or something else telling the ecu to shut down the engine to minimum power. A plug in diagnosis should tell you more, hopefully something that will just bolt on/plug in such as a sensor

looks like it will have to go to the garage to be tested,was hoping there was a usual suspect

hiya egr faults are common on transits so if you get fault code P0404 thats what it will be, also problems with the throttle pedal too. really need the fault code to help pin point the fault.
