Here's a strange question: anyone ever had problems with adjusting headlamps on a Vauxhall Tigra? My friend has a Tigra and she keeps adjusting the headlights only for them to quickly go out of adjustment again. Any ideas? Their default setting seems to be "too blimming high" or words to that effect.

Most vauxhall headlights are held in place with a piece of white plastic. This breaks and the headlight flops around. If there's any movement in the headlight then its this that's gone. They cost about 20p and are usually a pig to fit.

Thanks very much! I will attempt a repair at the weekend....

Also, if they're hella, take the cover off the back and poke your fingers in to make sure that the innards aren't floating around, if so, they'll jump to another position when you go over a bump.
