My father has just acquired my grandfathers '95 1.4 CDX Vauxhall Corsa with 46K on the clock and a full vauxhall service history. It goes well, although does require an MOT, Tax & Service in Feb. I can't make my mind whether to have it for silly money (couple of hundred quid) and sell my '05 Skoda Fabia 1.2. I do enjoy a newer car but 'bangernomics' also appeals!

A bit of a no brainer for me really.. Keep the Fabia.

Take the Corsa if the price really is that low, flog them both, get a Fabia 1.4 and really enjoy driving.

Corsa with 46K on the clock and a full vauxhall service history.

Does that include having the cambelt changed twice in that time? (every 40,000 miles, or 4 yrs. Whichever comes soonest) It will need yet another change next year as well, so don't forget to budget that into the bangernomics price.

Buy it and flea bay it.
