I have a Passat 130tdi estate. Water is getting into front drivers side floor pan. Suspect it may be coming from bulkhead. Can anyone tell me where drain channels are located - they may be blocked by leaf debris as vehicle is parked under trees and i have cleard out a lot of compacted debris from under the vents between bonnet and windscreen. Any tips on where to look. VW website directs you back to main agent - surprise surprise!!!

Try a forum search - this subject has been done to death. Plenum chambers will be blocked, or the cover on the pollen filter not replaced properly after a service.
PS. Your Caps Lock button appears to be stuck. {Now amended - DD}

it is more common to get it in the passenger side. (or at least passenger side in the UK - where are you ?)
Still work checking though. You might also consider the possibility of sunroof or door letting water in.

There is a black box in a well under the carpet in the front passenger footwell (RHD car). As a matter of urgency, lift the carpet and make sure that the black box does not become immersed in water. If it does, big bills will follow.......
