Old car phone (analogue) to new Digital?

Old car phone (analogue) to new Digital? - dodo
I have just acquired a mint e36 BMW 320i with an old analogue phone in it. I also have a Cark system for my nokia. As there is an aerial and microphone alraedy fitted I was wondering is it possible to disconnect the old phone and fit the Cark cradle etc. Or am I mad?

You could possibly use the aerial,microphone and speaker but I think you may find the connections are different ,especially the co-ax antenna lead.Best to ditch the old system and fit Nokia Cark system.
