Hi,
I seem to remember that Chevrolet (proper American not the re-badged Daewoo) have the same stud pattern if the BMW wheels don't fit.
|
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_E39 - Heretic - second only in beauty to a Jag ;-)
|
Thanks PU ... I am not a fan of BMW's hence the question and ignorance on my part and yes the Jag is beautifull makes me smile...cheers...Keo.

At least its rear wheel drive...;-)

Urgently trying to regain some ground after the E39 comment..........
seriously considered a 5 series when i bought the Jag.......but...........childhood memories of old S types and a monstrous great Mark X....... won me over
|
I might consider an S type in a few years...............

the twin turbo diesel is well impressive.........took one for an extended test drive, but couldn't justify the expenditure. It was quieter than my V6 petrol and very similar performance, with noticeably better mpg.........

Have you asked your Jaguar dealer?
When we were lucky enough to be XJ owners, we 'traded in' our old alloys for new/reconditioned lattice style, for a silly low price. As low as £50/rim IIRC.
& whilst mentioning, twin turbs, ours was EXACTLY that. The engine had undergone a rebuild & Janspeed conversion, at less than 2000miles. The cost was a shade under £10000!!!
Just another perk of the job, should you be a user chooser, of the company car you'll get, if you work for the recruitment division of a major high street bank.
We bought it 60000miles up for less than the cost of the engine work!!

www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/fitmentguide.asp
have one of the better fitment guides that I've seen.
you need stud pattern and diameter ie 5x112 (5 studs at a diameter of 112mm)
Offset - which is the offset of the plane through the centre of the wheel and the plane in which the hub fits usu quoted as eg ET45 which is a 45mm offset
and not forgetting hub diameter or bore again in mm but you can get rings that reduce the hub diameter of a wheel - metal ones better than plastic.
