Silicone Grease..whats it for? - telecaster
Can anyone tell me what silicone grease can be used on and has it any special properties?

On a similar vein can anyone recommend a good door hinge lubricant.........ie :white spray grease, WD40, 3 in one oil?

Doesn't affect rubber - so can be used on rubber hoses, fittings and O-rings etc. Also is a good electrical insulator and thermal conductor - so good to use on electrical parts (HT systems etc), heatsinks etc.. Stable at high temps too.

I used white 'spray grease' - it works fine.

I use "Comma" spray grease-bought it as a chain lubricant but on reading the tin,it can be used for all sorts of things;it worked well on on of my up-& over doors which was was starting to sieze.
