Profiles and Windows XP

Profiles and Windows XP - P.Mason {P}
Is anyone else having trouble with the Backroom profiles? All that happens when I click to read them is a 'bloop' sound and the page scrolls to the top.

As an ex teecher and with so many cars in the household I should have thought this would not be a problem for a retired person of your calibre. From which you will surmise I did not have a problem accessing yr profile.

What browser are you using please?

Make sure your poor obs don't make you a bad driver. You're missing the yellow bar at the top of the screen saying 'Click here to allow pop-ups'. (Words to that effect)

I find that this happens when the person has not not actually posted a profile.

Doh!

Having investigated, I find that I can access the profiles by pressing 'control' as I click on the profile. I haven't been using Windows XP for long - my son bought us a new computer for a birthday present. Many thanks for all the input.

Glad you got that sorted. Can recommend Steve Johnson's book "Brilliant Windows XP (what you need to know and how to do it)ISBN0132001357 is top class reference for XP List £12.99 and usually at your friendly Lending Library.
