When I had an old series 2 insured for 1500 miles a year I used Peter Best brokers out in Essex somewhere. Very friendly and helpful.
A lot of people rate the NFU for land rovers.

V8 I wish...2.25 diesel.

I use it to achieve a zen like state of calm as you simply cannot go anywhere quickly. I love it though I have a totally cheerful outlook on life when I'm driving it.

In 1994 I had an 82 SIII with overdrive and safari roof 2.25 5 bearing, 12 seats and noisy despite sound proofing and loads of extra carpets on the floor. I wish I had never sold it best car I have ever owned.

Having said that its nice to get from a to b in reasonable time now, and I am sure the Landy was the source of my tinnitus!

Have a flick through the back of the landie mags - loads of specialist out there who will try to take you money off you.

Mine is through Adrian Flux but it's not exactly a standard vehicle.
