Wow, thats a surprise to me! To see that the money raised from speeding scameras is not being used to promote any road safety schemes.
But at least I am happy in the knowledge that the people operating the scams have nice new uniforms and tvs to watch!

It's worth noting that the camera pratnerships only get the fixed penalty money. If it goes to court, they don't, so if everyone pleaded not guilty (or just failed to pay) then not only would they have no income, the magistrates court system would seize up completely...

My mate's actually going down the PACE route AS so I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

Adam, SFAIK the PACE route will lead to a court hearing/summons and one then applies for a deferment pending the result of a UK HightCourt case whose outcome in turn depends on a a EU Court of Human Rights ruling. Should get hearing dropped or psotponed until at least February 2007 - more information and updates at www.pepipoo.com
