Bought the new mk 3 galaxy last week, base model lx i.8 tdci engine.
So far impressions have been all good, very peppy engine, sharp brakes and very slick gearbox.
Inside room is also cavernous, have been a few less than favourable comments about its appearance..........................any thoughts anyone?

By all accounts it is the best MPV bar none currently. I have had a close look at an S-Max though not driven one yet, the Galaxy and S-Max are very closely related and while the S-Max looks a little more sporty by virtue of being lower I prefer the rear side window arrangement in the Galaxy.

Had a look at the delaer whilst I was looking for at the old shape - the smax does look better , but the galaxys extra room is very useful. Both good cars.

Both however beset with niggly issues, probably due the production process needing to be sorted out.

Well I had it back to dealers after 3 days due to non working cd/radio........turned out to be a pinched wire connected to the rear mounted (hidden aerial).................fingers crossed thats as bad as it gets!
