AX wet seat belt - help! - ib33
My seat belt (drivers) in my Citroen AX is always wet through every time it rains. I have tried pouring water all round the windows but could not see where it is getting in. Drain holes are clear and I cannot see any evidence to where the water is coming from. Any ideas?

hi does your car have a sunroof that could be the culprit i had a renault clio
and sunroof leaked never seen water coming in cause it was running along inside the roof panel
dunno if this helps your problem

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the suggestion, but my car does not have a sunroof.
Funny thing is that nothing else is wet just the belt!

Is it the top of the belt or the bottom ? - or the bit that is in the panel.

if you take the panel off where the seatbelt sits you will see it sits in a plastic type cup and this is why your belt stays wet.
i would suggest the window is indeed leaking in here as they are on a poor type fastener arrangement
