Managed to get the middle vent out OK.
The smaller one (to each side of the dash) on the driver's side was a real pain. It's also quite easy to take the paint off as it's sprayed matt black. I may even end up buying the whole unit if I've scratched it too much.
I can't for the life of me work out how to get the bulbs out though for either of them. There's a tab that you have to press to release the bulb but I can't locate it at all.

Sorry £16 each include fitting but they told me today that they had never managed to get the bulb out without breaking the vent housing.
Took three accountants an hour to got all of them out today but there is a knack to it.
Bulbs are about £4 each on order still.
