Can anyone give me some advice about a blower fault (only working at full speed) on my Connect. Had a similar problem ages ago on a Golf and fixed by linking out resistor on motor control board. I am hoping things have moved on and may be something simple?! Thanks

Usual fault when a blower motor on any vehicle only works at full speed is the resistor pack has failed. No idea where it is situated on a Transit Connect, but I'd start by looking near to the blower motor itself.

be aware that these connects are multiplexed i would tread very carefully op

No need to apologise oldman. If I've posted some information that could be misleading or wrong, then by all means mention it. At the end of the day I don't want someone to screw up their vehicle because of something I've said which could be incorrect.

The connect van uses the same heater box as a Focus.The fan motor and speed resistor are behind the glove box.
