My 2000 Laguna radio antenna which connects to the rear window has come off twice.I have stuck the button back on with the special glue for sticking mirrors on but the quality of reception has declined ,has anybody any ideas how to cure without replacing the aerial part that it incorporated in the back wndow.

If you are using ordinary glue I would guess that it is not conductive, hence your loss of signal. Try with a multimeter to see if your joint is conductive as it is. I wonder if you could use the metal loaded conductive paint (it has been sold in the past for repairing rearscreen heater elements) painted over your glued joint to restore conductivity.
